See the new Harry, Ron, Hermione, and more joining Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

And just like magic, Broadway has a new Cursed Child cast.

On Tuesday, a day ahead of their first performance, producers of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child revealed portraits (not the kind that move, sadly) of the cast’s new Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and other key players in the two-part wizarding world saga.

The new faces include James Snyder as Harry Potter, Diane Davis as Ginny Potter, and Nicholas Podany as their son Albus Potter; Matt Mueller as Ron Weasley, Jenny Jules as Hermione Granger, and Nadia Brown as their daughter, Rose Granger-Weasley; and Jonno Roberts as Draco Malfoy with Bubba Weiler as his son, Scorpius Malfoy.

Cursed Child’s cast changeover means that the original core Broadway cast — including Jamie Parker, Paul Thornley, and Noma Dumezweni, who also originated the Harry/Ron/Hermione roles in the London production — are now officially hanging up their wands and wizarding robes.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child — which follows the adventures of Harry’s middle child, Albus, during his own years at Hogwarts — opened on Broadway last year and won six Tony Awards, including Best Play.

Take a look at the new Harry, Hermione, Ron, Ginny, Draco, Albus, Rose, and Scorpius below.
